Mode of Action: Blue Copper Fungicide involve the release of copper ions, which are toxic to fungal spores. These ions work by denaturing proteins and enzymes within the fungal cells, effectively disrupting their normal function. The copper ions bind to the sulphohydril groups of certain enzymes, which inactivates them and prevents the fungus from growing and reproducing.
